The Department of State has released the Visa Bulletin for July 2020. The table below shows "Final Action (Approval)" cut-off dates and movement from the previous month, for all major employment-based categories. DOS also warned about high demand for MEXICO E4 and SR: There continues to be high demand in these categories which will result in the Mexico E4 per-country limit being reached during July. Therefore, readers should expect the retrogression of the August E4 and SR Final Action Dates for Mexico. This action will allow the Department to hold worldwide number use within the maximum allowed under the FY-2020 annual limits.

06/16/2020: USCIS Will No Longer Send Federal Register Announcements to Subscriber List

As of June 17, 2020, USCIS will no longer send Federal Register announcements to their subscriber list. The Federal Register has added email notifications to their own tools for sharing documents. The Federal Register’s notification tools include: email subscription, RSS feeds, Twitter, and Facebook. The Federal Register webpage explains how to subscribe to notifications quickly and easily. You can create your own custom notifications by subscribing to specific search results, including USCIS or immigration.

05/29/2020: USCIS Resumes Premium Processing for Certain Petitions

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services today announced that it will resume premium processing for Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker and Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers, in phases over the next month.

05/06/2020: Military Personnel and Veterans Can Now File Their Form N-400 Online

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services today announced that U.S. service members and veterans can now file Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, online.

Those currently serving or who have served in the armed forces may be eligible to apply for naturalization under special provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). Under these special provisions, the naturalization application fee is waived for military members and veterans, as are some of the requirements. Until now, U.S. service members and veterans filed a paper Form N-400. Provisions of the law extend some immigration benefits to the family member of a service member.
