July 2020 Visa Bulletin: Slow Movement for Most EB Categories Except India EB-1

The Department of State released July 2020 Visa Bulletin today.

For China, all Eb1, EB2 and EB3 categories will advance by one week. Since Visa Bulletin moves forward by one month, this means employment-based categories for China will actually retrogress further in July.

India EB-1 is the biggest winner, advancing almost one year (334 days) for July. EB-2 will advance by just under one month, and EB-3 will move forward by two months.

For the rest of the world, EB1 and EB2 will remain current, and EB3 will jump 158 days.

India EB5 (investment) will become Current in July 2020, leaving only China and Vietnam with a cut-off date for this category. China’s cutoff date is July 22, 2015 and Vietnam is May 15, 2017.

The easiest way to track cut-off date movement is to check out the interactive Visa Bulletin Tracking Graph.

For family-sponsored categories, there’re no big surprises for July Visa Bulletin. Every category follows an existing pattern and will advance slightly for next month. Philippines F1, F2B, F3 and F4 have been on a upward trend since early 2019. F2A remains current for every country.
