The following USCIS fee schedule takes effect on November 23, 2010. This means that applications and petitions postmarked or filed on or after that date are required to pay the new fees. Payment must be in US dollars. Checks and money orders from U.S. institutions are accepted. Cash is not accepted. Note that certain applications may require an additional biometric fee of $85.
Please read the instructions for individual forms and double check the fee requirement before submitting your application/petition. Also, download immigration forms only from official U.S. government websites such as USCIS.gov or State.gov - very important!
