New Immigration Fees

New USCIS fees take effect on July 30, 2007. Applications with incorrect fees will be rejected by the USCIS. Payment must be in US dollars. Checks and money orders from U.S. institutions are accepted. Cash are not accepted. Note that certain applications may require a biometric fee of $80 (see instructions for the form you plan to file).

The new I-485 fee already includes fees for associated EAD and AP applications. If you filed your I-485 before the fee increase, to apply for or renew an EAD or AP, you must file a new application with the new fee.
