General Visa Issues: 2 years, 3 months ago Wanted to find out how long goes it take for USCIS to notify NVC of an approval. We filed I-824 with USCIS in May, 2010 which was approved in Jan, 2011 but almost 5 weeks but still NVC has no information or record of this case.
Is this pretty normal? If someone has gone thru’ this process please update us.
If NVC indicated that they haven’t received anything from USCIS, you can contact the service center that processed your I-824. I would either call or schedule an infopass. Here is how: http://immigrationroad.com/green-card/contact-uscis-fbi.php
