I-130 6 months agoVERY CLOSE TO TURNING IN THE HARDSHIP WAIVER. SO MANY DOCUMENTS!! HAVE A LAWYER APPOINTMENT TO SEE WHAT ELSE I NEED TO DO!! ALMOST DONE WITH THE JOURNEY!! EXCITED!!

I-130 8 months, 3 weeks agoMy I 130 Petion finally got approved after 1 year 9 months!!! Hopefully the rest of the journey will not take this long.

Should i make another […] ViewYeah my case is complicated because we married during removal proceedings but we were living together before he was brought in by ICE. He was brought by ICE because where we live they have that 287g program where if you get taken in they ask you if you are here legally or not. We have a daughter now. Should i make another […] ViewNo they did not go get them to show them to me. The person did not tell me to come back at another time. However, I did make another appointment to see if the liason is there this time I go to talk to them. What do you think I should say or ask them?

I-130 1 year, 1 month agoI went to an infopass appointment and they said they would go get the liason but the immigration officer said that that person was not there. Should i make another inforpass appointment. The immigration officer just said that they were going to interview me and that my file was upstairs in the field office.

So they said your files were upstairs and what happened next? Did they go fetch them? Did they tell you to come back at another time?

No they did not go get them to show them to me. The person did not tell me to come back at another time. However, I did make another appointment to see if the liason is there this time I go to talk to them. What do you think I should say or ask them?

In reply to: mwasi posted an update Got a Service request letter in the mail today and all it says is that my i130 inquiry was sent to the i130 section i do not know what that means or if it is a good thing or not. Viewall I know is that it is at the local office here in atlanta.

I-130 1 year, 3 months agoI 130 is at the district office and got a response from Senator. They also have the a file number. The two will be mergeed and an interview will be scheduled. Still have to wait and wait some more. wait time is now 1 year and 3 months for and I 130 to be approved. How ineffiecient this is is.

I’m glad you’re getting at least some information from your Senator. The process is long and frustrating, as we all know, but as long as it’s moving along there is hope. Good luck with everything and keep us posted!

I-130 1 year, 3 months agoOkay so finally the immigration bond is cancelled after a year later. I can get my money back. Now, I am still waiting for my I 130 to be approved.

Yeah it says the California Service Center is around 5 months to process the I 130, but I do not now how much longer i will have to wait. I keep calling the USCIS cuntomer service phone number and had sent numerous service inquires but all those letters say wait without any exlanation of why they are taking so long to process my petition.
