Well, I don’t know the details of your case or what questions you had before making the appointments. But good luck with your application and hope you get it soon.

The law governing this issue is “Section 625 of Public Law 104-208.” You can try google it for more information. It states that F-1 students attending public schools must pay full tuition (along with other restrictions), but dependents of long-term nonimmigrants are not restricted by the new provisions.
